Cream Ridge Morgans
We are located 14 miles northwest of Orofino, Idaho and have been raising registered Morgan horses on our grain farm since 1982. Our horses carry some of the finest Champion Reining and Cutting Western Working Morgan bloodlines. We have combined the breeding of the Jackson Morgan Horse Ranch (Mortana Morgans) in Montana and Ida-Ho Morgans. Also, Waer, Roland Hill stock from California Morgans, L.U. Sheep and Cattle Co. in Wyoming, Midnight Morgans and Beaver State Morgans of Oregon are close-up in our horses.
Roland Hill's Horseshoe Cattle Co. (where Ray Hunt got his start), the L.U. Ranch, the Jacksons, and Richard Sellman in Texas used their Morgans to work their large cattle operations. These Morgans have proven to be some of the best western working stock horses of any breed. Ellsworth's Ida-Ho Morgans also used their horses for years as a hunting pack string in the high mountains every fall.
