Star is a very pretty mare, not at all spooky and a solid trail horse. She has been started in reining, shown in local horse shows and ridden in a parade. Currently she is in foal to Cream Ridge Marty.
Here is a link to Prairie Hill Morgans, the owners website of Quantum Midnight Magic, who is Star's sire.

Beaver State Pennant (Hedlite's Micky Waer x Tripenny) 1976 bay mare, 14.3 hands. (Click on picture for large photo) With Gene Van Dyke, whip.
Our foundation brood mare.
(sold)
Pedigree reference photos:
Piedmont Cresta, bred by WR Hearst
I had been looking for a Hedlite's Micky Waer daughter as a foundation broodmare to compliment the bloodlines in Cream Ridge Mirzay and found Beaver State Pennant. Pennant had a high concentration of Waer, Hill, W.R. Hearst and Sellman breeding up-close, with a cross to Brunk lines through Trinango and Congo. In 1987, we purchased her from Gene and Kathy Van Dyke, owners of Beaver State Morgans. She was already broke to harness and saddle by the Van Dykes. Pennant was the perfect horse, she became whatever level the rider was. She had plenty of zip for the skilled rider, but became a great baby sitter when kids were on or near her. We sold her to a family so their daughter could use her for a 4-H horse, still very sound at about 20 years old.
Pennant's half brother Waer's Red Cloud (Hedlite's Micky Waer x Waer's Mona Lisa) appeared as one of the horses playing Figure (AKA, Justin Morgan), in the Walt Disney movie "Justin Morgan Had a Horse".
Pennant's daughter, Beaver State Tiffany won the following titles for owners Gene and Kathy Van Dyke:
1991 PNW Regional Championship Show, 1st place Snaffle Bit Reining.
1991 NMC&SHA National Finals Show, 1st place Snaffle Bit Reining.

Chopaka's Winter Breeze (Goldenaire Cordobra x Double H Tara)
1990 bay mare 15.0 hands. (sold)
Breezy produced many good foals as a brood mare for us, which we have all sold.

Cream Ridge Halle (Cream Ridge Mirzay x Chopakas Winter Breeze)
2003 black mare. (sold)
We sold Halle as a matched pair with her black full sister Cream Ridge Eileen, to a gentleman in Iowa in 2004. Six years later in Nov. 2010, we got a phone call from a horse rescue group notifying us that Halle was in a Pennsylvania auction yard pen, waiting to be shipped to Canada for slaughter. Luckily, her pedigree papers were with her and that is how the rescue group contacted us as the breeder. We bought her, but knew it would be a long trip for her to be shipped to us in Idaho. With the help of the rescue people, we found another owner for Halle on the east coast.
We are pleased that Janet Beardsley of Maine took a chance on Halle and purchased her. Halle arrived at her new home in Maine last Dec 2010. In March 2011, Janet was surprised with an additional bonus to the deal, as Halle foaled a nice black colt! As Janet said, it looks like we saved two lives! Janet is currently looking for the Morgan sire's owner so that she might register the foal. We would like to hear from anyone who might have more info on Halle and Cream Ridge Eileen.
